Curb-and-Gutter Concrete Volume
Concrete for a curb-and-gutter run, a linear per-station pour of a fixed cross-section: volume = cross-section x length / 27 x (1 + waste); cy per 100 LF = cross-section x 100 / 27. A 2.0 ft^2 section over 300 LF is 24 cy with waste (7.4 cy per 100 LF); a heavier 2.5 ft^2 section is 30 cy (9.3 cy/100 LF). The cross-section comes from the DOT or municipal standard curb-and-gutter detail; the cy per 100 LF is the ordering rule of thumb. Distinct from the shape presets in concrete.
Formula and source
volume_cy = cross_section_ft2 x length_ft / 27 x (1 + waste_pct/100); cy_per_100lf = cross_section_ft2 x 100 / 27.
Linear-pour identity by name (fixed cross-section over a run to cubic yards, plus the per-100-LF ordering rate); first-principles volume arithmetic.
