2000 CFM at the 500 fpm wet-coil limit needs 4.0 ft^2 (about 24x24 in). A larger face lowers velocity and carryover risk. The coil manufacturer's rated face velocity governs.
Required face_area_ft2 = CFM / target_face_velocity_fpm (the inverse of face_velocity = CFM / area); square side = sqrt(face_area x 144).
