Details, formula, and sources
Total continuous amperage from LGR dehumidifier / air-mover / HEPA-scrubber / heat-dryer counts (representative nameplate defaults), the NEC 210.20(A) 80%-continuous limit per breaker, and the number of 15 / 20 / 30 A circuits required, flagging any single unit too large for its own circuit. Per NEC 2023.
Total continuous draw (A) = sum(quantity × nameplate amps) + other load. Continuous-load limit per circuit = 0.80 × breaker rating (NEC 210.20(A), continuous = 3 hr or more). Circuits required = ceil(total / (0.80 × breaker)). Total VA = total amps × circuit voltage.
